Title: STANDING ITEM: STRATEGIC RISK REGISTER

Purpose 

To present the current Strategic Risk Register and request any comments or updates 
required to the Register. 

Recommendations 
The Committee is asked to: 

a) Note the updated Strategic Risk Register presented at Annex 1 to this paper; 

b) Identify any amendments or updates to the Risk Register that may be required. 

Executive Summary 
This paper presents the revised strategic risk register agreed by the Committee at its 
previous meeting following update by the Authority’s Management Team in November 
2009. This strategic risk register links to the Authority’s Corporate Plan for 2008 to 2011 
and was developed through the workshop facilitated by the internal auditors and attended 
by Board members and Management Team in December 2008. 

In line with normal practice, members of the Committee are invited to review the strategic 
risk register and identify any amendments or updates that may be required.
